Being a picky eater definitely has its struggles. For one, people look at you like you are peculiar. However, being a picky eater doesn't make you weird, it just means that you have a certain liking for some foods while you avoid others. The pickiest eaters are usually toddlers, but for some, being picky continues through the rest one's life. It is very common for babies and toddlers to be picky eaters, but thankfully, most people outgrow picky eating once they get older, such as in childhood and adulthood.

1. The amount of things you eat is very small

Usually consisting of comfort foods and the same foods you eat in rotation. The same foods every single time.... such as mac and cheese and pizza

2. All of your fast foods orders have the "special order" sticker.

Customized for picky eaters. The sticker you see when you know your food is safe to eat

3. When people say, "Just scrape the sauce off," as if the flavor won't remain

Hence ruining someone's meal. Because you can not just scrape off the sauce, it doesn't work that way.

4. You’ve become an expert in quickly and efficiently picking out the bits you don’t like.

5. You know that a full fridge doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything for you to eat.

6. You’ve lied about being allergic to things, just to get out of having to try them.

7. It’s a rare occasion when you can order something straight off the menu without a request of some sort.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
