The winter is the worst. Air-conditioning is not always the best in the summer. And you basically need a blanket or a sweater with you wherever you go. If you can relate, then you probably hate the cold, and struggle with these 12 things.
1. The dread you experience when your professor or someone in your class asks to turn on the air conditioning, or open a window.
2. Going off of that, the dread you experience when you find out someone “prefers the cold” and thus likes all cars, rooms, and other spaces to be kept at cool temperatures.
3. The necessity of your space heater, even when it’s technically still “warm” outside.
4. Also, the necessity of wearing sweatpants, a sweatshirt, AND cozy socks to bed (with your space heater on of course).
I am now ready to go to sleep.
5. The absolute awfulness of showering in water that is anywhere below a "hot" temperature.
6. But, when the water is hot, staying in the shower for way longer than necessary.
7. The struggle of getting yourself to go out during the winter months.
8. Finally caving by going out during the winter, only to practically die of frostbite because of your poor outfit choice.
9. Losing all motivation to dress cute when the weather gets colder.
10. Needing at least three to five cups of coffee, tea, or another hot substance a day during the winter months just to keep your internal body temperature comfortable.
11. The dread you experience when you have to finally get out of your nice heated car and walk the long journey to your house, apartment, or dorm.
12. The overall dread you experience during winter, basically every day.
