I have never considered myself a "girly-girl" but have never fit 100 percent into the "tomboy" category either. My favorite color was always blue. (I would always point out blue objects as a young child resulting in my younger sister thinking everything was blue despite the color) I also love dirt bikes, target shooting and getting muddy. However, I still enjoy dressing up, wearing makeup (which is usually a disaster) and looking nice on occasion. Not that ridiculous labels even matter, but this inspired a list of things that girls who were never quite a "girly-girl" can definitely relate to.
1. You don't care about the Bachelor. (or Keeping Up With The Kardashians... or most reality tv in general)
2. You can't justify spending $50 on a single makeup item.
3. Or $300 on a purse.
4. Running across campus in sneakers and a business suit and putting on your heels right before your presentation.
5. The color pink makes you sick to your stomach.
6. Not understanding all the drama; you guys bring it upon yourselves.
7. Or the funny poses on girl's Instagram.
8. You probably have a hard time making close friendships with girls because you don't always have much in common.
9. You'd prefer an action movie over a chick flick any day. Unless it is a chick-flick with zombies.
10. Baby Fever? You mean puppy fever.
11. You are always the designated bug-squisher.
12. You really suck at doing makeup (that doesn't always stop you from trying).
13. Long, fake nails gross you out.
14. You have a small purse or don't even carry one.
15. When you do, it only holds your keys, phone, money, Chapstick and pocket knife.
16. Long shopping trips bore you.
17. Getting ready really stresses you out.
18. When you have to wear a dress it is usually because you don't feel like wearing pants or putting together an outfit, not because you want to dress up.
19. You don't keep up with celebrity gossip.
20. You have three hairstyles.
