IDK about you, but I sometimes just get the urge to do my own nails. Saves me money but holy crap it is the worst idea every time. I think I can do it and then I begin to and it just ends badly. But I can't just not finish my nails because I'm that person who needs them painted all the time. It's a struggle.
1. Painting your finger as well as your nail
When you started off strong but then get slightly lazy and end up painting the skin around your nail
2. Attempting to do nail art
When you've been surfing Pinterest for "easy" nail art and it turns in blobs chilling on your nails
3. Impatiently waiting for your nails to dry
You just finished your nails but who has the time to let them fully dry?? So of course you try to go on with your daily life and look down at them and one, or more, is completely messed up.
4. Trying to be unique with your nails
Don't water marble your nails unless your prepared to have your fingers covered in nail polish
5. Removing old nail polish
Sounds easy but literally takes some elbow grease. And if you have sparkles, forget it.
6. Trying to shape your nails
Thinking you can shape your nail but end up with half the nail you started with and no defined shape
8. Overestimating the size of your toenails
My toe nails are so small and the nail polish brushes are too big resulting in a toe covered in polish
9. Being ambitious and trying a french tip
Who the heck can get straight lines, even with using cheats like tape?
