Unless you've been living under a rock for the past six months, you are probably aware that "Hamilton" has quickly become one of the most sought-after Broadway tickets of all time. You might also know that the tickets are nearly impossible to get your hands on, and if you are lucky enough to find an open date, the tickets will likely cost you your first year's worth of tuition. However, you don't have to see the show live to appreciate the incredible masterpiece that is spearheaded by Broadway alum, Lin-Manuel Miranda. If you're like me, the "Hamilton" soundtrack follows you to the gym, on car rides, and even to the pre-game where your friends beg you to shut it off because they just don't get it. To the "Hamilton" fan who has yet to actually see "Hamilton", the struggle is very real and probably looks a lot like the following:
When you get your paycheck and think of all the money you are prepared to spend on Hamilton tix
When you check ticket prices AGAIN just to find that they still haven't gone down, and you will literally never see this show
When you make a Hamilton reference and someone actually gets it
When you're going hard on "Guns and Ships" and someone in the general vicinity asks if you're having a seizure
When you roll up to the theater, fully confident in your abilities to win the lottery
When you lose the lottery... again
When you and your best friend agree to try again next week and every week for the rest of your life until you win
When "Helpless" comes on at the club
Jk that never happens and you're bitter about it
