This one is for my fellow big girls!

When you're fat, big, plus size, or whatever term you'd like to use there are some things that go along with the territory. I decided that I might as well make a list of some of the struggles I face. I know my fellow big girls will totally relate to some, if not all, of these things. Shout out to y'all, you get the struggle!

1. Chub rub: It's real and it's here to stay.

This is THE MOST PAINFUL THING EVER. Don't you dare try to wear skirts or dresses, nothing cute. You may feel fine at first... that's how the chub rub gets yah. Makes you think that maybe you just won't get it today! Wrong. For some people, this is just a summertime problem. For me it's all year long (one of the lucky ones I guess lol.)

2. "You're so pretty for a big girl"

This is not a compliment, despite what people think. So, I'm pretty for a big girl? What about compared to skinny girls? Do I become ugly? NO. Just say I'm pretty if you really think so. Don't attach anything to it. You can acknowledge I'm fat, but don't do it while trying to give me a "compliment".

3. Online Shopping

I'll spend two hours picking out clothes and throwing them into my online cart. Then I realize... Why the hell am I online shopping? I know damn well if I don't try stuff on then I run the high risk of it not fitting right when I finally get it. All that work and I'll end up with nothing to show for it.

4. Eating around people/in public

I absolutely hate eating around people. People stare at me whenever I'm eating. Just the other day this group of guys and girls decided to stare and whisper at me while eating, then they'd laugh. Listen, I'm human and I've got to eat too. I don't understand why you can't just leave me alone. It doesn't matter if I eat a small portion or a lot, people think it's fun to watch and laugh.

5. Being the biggest family member at Thansgiving or Christmas dinner

So I show up to dinner like:

And trust me, I'm proud! However, y'all know there's the judgemental family members looking at you like:

Honey, you can judge all you want but you only come around once a year to eat all our food. So with that, your opinion is irrelevant.

6. Amusement park rides can be hella scary

Nothing but fear runs through you on these rides. You gotta pray you're buckled in right and hope that thing won't come undone!

7. The gym is a struggle

People stay staring at you whenever you go to the gym when you're bigger. Like, they judge you for being fat and they judge you for being at the gym. You can't please people.

8. Don't you dare cut your hair into a bob

If you think it looked bad on Johnny Depp, just wait till you see it on yourself. It is not flattering, please believe me. Do not try this at home... or ever.

9. "Fat people are lazy"

I don't understand why people always have the nerve to say this, but it's definitely not true. It's not your size that makes you lazy, it's your personal work ethic.

10. Boob sweat is real af

Usually big boobs come along with being fat. It's not all it's cracked up to be, mostly due to boob sweat. Along with the chub rub, it's an all year thang. And yeah, it's pretty gross man.

So although we face these struggles and so many more, we're still great just like everyone else. Stay fabulous my fellow big girls! Xoxo

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
