This past week is when the Lollapalooza tickets went on sale. Lollapalooza is an annual music festival that takes place all around the world. Thousands and thousands of people attend each year; but because so many people go, it is a pretty stressful experience to get tickets. Many people contemplate going to Lollapalooza, but you don't have to go for all four days. The four-day passes always come out first and then the one day passes follow. The only bad thing about the four-day passes is that the lineup comes out after the tickets go on sale. So, you don't know who you are paying to see when you're buying your tickets. More than likely, you will know at least a couple of artists on the lineup, so you'll have a good time either way.

This is not a cheap experience, four-day tickets are $335 and one-day tickets are $120. It's better to decide early so you can start saving your money. Lolla is so worth the money, though. Over the course of four days, you get to see hundreds of artists live. Once the tickets go on sale, there is such a high demand, that they choose people at random to get tickets. This means that once you're selected to buy your ticket, it isn't guaranteed that you will get one. This is probably the most stressful part! The tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. and I didn't get in until 10:20 am. I was so nervous the whole time that they would be sold out! Lucky for me, I ended up getting a ticket without any issues.

After a while, you will finally get in and be able to purchase your tickets. Now it's time to celebrate! You're going to Lollapalooza!

The day before Lolla you will be so excited. Tomorrow is going to be the day you get to see some of your favorite artists perform. Make sure you are prepared and have everything you may need for the full day of chaos. Some things you should consider bringing are a portable charger, umbrella, and comfortable shoes. There are many more things you should obviously bring, but those are just some suggestions.

Overall, trying to get tickets to Lollapalooza may be stressful, but the experience will be something you will remember forever. I hope you have a great time at Lollapalooza! Just a few other things to remember, make sure to be safe, responsible, and of course, remember to have fun.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
