I got to experience the Stratford Festival this year. It was a unique experience that I hadn’t really had before. Going with the honors program for my first trip to Canada in years, seeing a cute small town, and seeing a marvelous performance of Shakespeare’s Macbeth made waking up at 7:15 on a Sunday worth it. Stratford is a quaint little town. We went to lunch at a pizzeria. It was weird to have a pizzeria that was so formal. The food was super good. I got a pasta dish and my two friends that were with me both got four cheese pizzas. We then of course had to check out the chocolate factory down the street. It had fudges of many types such as peanut butter and Nutella. Me being the Nutella lover I am bought the Nutella one it was super good. Then we went and walked back along the river to see the swans and through the art in the park. The paintings and metal work that were there were amazing. The show was cool to see having read the play in my sophomore year English class.
