On October 27th, there was one thing that everyone was talking about. No, it wasn't Halloween, it was the long-awaited release of Stranger Things 2.

As with most Netflix originals, waiting the whole year for the release of the next season can seem to drag on forever.

The worst is when the wait wasn't even worth it because the season was less than impressive. Stranger Things 2, however, was well worth the wait and I am sure that many fans will agree. Spoilers follow.

Many questions that were left from season one, as well as a new storyline for several characters.

Remember Will? How could you not remember that bowl cut?

Well, we thought all of his problems ended after the gang, with help from his mom, brother, and others, got him out of 'The Upside Down.' Boy were we mistaken.

If you remember way back from season one, Eleven had to open the wall to the Upside Down in order to get Will out, and it was never closed because we didn't know if Eleven died or where she went!

Well because that wall was never closed, a new enemy was created, a bigger, scarier and more powerful one that was able to take control of Will's body, as well as control all his minions that inhabited the earth. They call it 'The Shadow Monster.' Definitely a scary and large being.

You'll have to watch in order to find out about Will's new struggle as I refuse to give away everything.

Surprise! Eleven is ALIVE! Thank the heavens, I mean she is a major character in the show so did we really think she could be dead? We find that she is living in confinement with Sheriff Hopper, and this quickly becomes a problem as she misses her friends, especially Mike.

The first episode of the season starts with an introduction to a new character who has a similar tattoo of a number 8, to Eleven's tattoo of... well an 11. Eleven later escapes the confinement of her new home, in search of this new character. This scene was one of the most heartwarming and tear-jerking experiences I have ever watched.

Some new characters were introduced. The gang added a new member named Max a female who all but Mike are smitten with, who has a crazy brother that causes many problems. But also forces a cool fight scene with Steve. New relationships are explored, as well as old ones are rekindled.

Talk of Barb has finally begun since they completely dismissed her disappearance in the first one. Her family hired an investigative reporter to do digging and find out what happened to her. Nancy and Jonathan help the reporter with discovering the truth.

Overall, if this is a show you haven't seen I highly recommend. And if you haven't seen the second season yet, what are you waiting for?!!? The character and plot development are just as good, if not better than the first season, and the drama and trust issues that enfold are addictive. And you cannot forget the cute dance scene at the end.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
