Happy New Year, Odyssey readers!
The dumpster fire that is 2016 has ended, or, at least is has been contained. Whether this year will get better or worse remains to be seen (and depends heavily on President-elect Trumplethinskin), but that is not what this article is about. This article is part New Year's resolution, part writing challenge and part fun.
Writing Therapy is a blog dedicated to positive mental health and the use of writing as a healthy coping mechanism. It provides prompts, quotes, challenges and other tools to help writers get ideas flowing. One such post is a writing challenge entitled "52 Short Stories in 52 Weeks." It's pretty much self-explanatory, and the prompts themselves are listed below:
