Have you ever noticed how nature goes through tough times just like we do?
Okay so winter is gone and spring has pushed it's way into our everyday lives. With spring comes beautiful flowers and such that you aren't used to seeing. Tulips you forgot were in your yard lead the line of spring into your city. Neighbors start mowing their grass again as it goes from a faded brown to a dark green. Pollen lines your eyes as you wipe them along with your nose (slowly keeping the winter flu virus traveling). The trees wake up with flowers lifted out in great colors and it seems like all is well.
During spring, while the bushes and trees eject flowers that bring life to the area around us. All is well within sweet harmony. Then something happens, and everything changes. Maybe it's a windy day or heavy rain, or both; All the flowers have gotten all soggy and the pedals have fallen away.
For me, it's kinda depressing to see the sad dying flowers. The bushes and trees notice that too much energy is going to the flowers to restore them, so they cut off all power and the flowers die off. Sometimes our story has ups and downs. You may be in a spring time in your life right now. Things may look up for you, It's bright and sunny and the wind blows your hair back at the perfect time of day.
Sometimes, we go through storms in our lives and end up like the flowers, It seems like everything is messing up, it seems like that one storm started a downhill fall that you cant stop. After all the flowers come and go, the trees go through yet another transformation. Instead of the trees dying along with their flowers the tree pushes out a full face of bight green leaves.
Although your storm might have changed you, it has helped you. You could not have succeeded at just flowers, you needed to get those leaves. The storm only helped you get your leaves.
The hard times are worth it. Make it through this storm then celebrate at your growth.
