STOP THE MADNESS!!!!
The Spiritual Awakening

As I watched the news this morning and scrolled through my Facebook and Twitter feeds, one thought kept echoing in my mind, that thought was to stop the madness. Our world has become very mixed up and I believe that we may be in the end of days thus it is time to stop the madness. It is time to get back to the basic principles of helping one another and realizing that we are more alike than we are different. It is time to embrace the idea that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and to truly show kindness and compassion to others. I watched the end of the Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars game and when I saw a player had beer bottles thrown at him and the player wanted to go up into the stands all I could think of is simply walk away and go collect your check and then take appropriate action instead of turning to violence as violence only begets violence and makes things worse. It is now that we need to stop the madness and get back to the spiritual teachings that will allow us to make a mind, body, soul connection so that we can be of service and value to one another.

As you look at what's going on and what the media chooses to tell you, take a deep breath and find a way to stop the madness. One way to stop the madness is to engage people in a conversation where you can find a common ground that will allow you to create positivism wherever you go. Look deep inside yourself and make a divine connection to source that will allow you to create a world filled with much peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

Another way to stop the madness is to get back to the teaching of the scriptures and build a foundation stepped in divinity for the next generation so that they do not value the materialistic but instead understand the importance of awakening spiritually and being of service and value to one another. It is when we can speak to people's hearts that we can make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others.

Ask yourself what you are focusing on and how that is serving you. If you have things in your life that are not serving you it is time to eliminate them and to move on finding people and things that will serve you as you stop the madness. If watching the news upsets you stop watching the news. If the actions of others upset you stop hanging out with the people who are acting in a manner that disrupts your life. Sometimes it is necessary to take stock in who you are hanging out with and make adjustments so that you can stop the madness while enhancing your personal, professional, and spiritual life.

One way I have found to eliminate that which doesn't serve me is to make three piles one for discards, one for keeps, and one for charitable donations. Every 3 months I will go through items in my home and remove what doesn't serve me and when I am done I find myself in a better place spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I have found when you can turn things that no longer serve you into things that serve others you increase your level of happiness and abundance as when you give cheerfully you open up channels to receive. It is through the elimination of that which no longer serves you that you create space for GOD to give you that which will serve you better and allow you to live the life that GOD has prepared for you.

Another way to stop the madness is to hold yourself accountable and look at the attitude that you are bringing to your daily life and how it is affecting your vibration. As you go through the day remember it is how you react to what is happening that determines how your day will go. It is when you change your outlook and commit to stopping the madness that you will see many positive changes in your life.

It is time to stop the madness and recognize that you are a divine child of GOD and that GOD has great plans for you to prosper. NAMASTE!!!

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
