Stop Telling Senator Kamala Harris To Be More Courteous

People should stop telling Senator Kamala Harris to be nice during questioning. Specifically Senator John McCain. Congress is known for its contentious verbal battles that often are not very polite or considerate. But most of these exchanges never get shut down by another senator. Here are 5 examples of Congress being testy with witnesses on the floor and they didn't get shut down.

1. When Coates, McCabe, Rogers and Rosenstein wouldn't answer

2. Trey Gowdy during one of his long epic rants at Hillary Clinton


3. When Chaffetz was even more rude to the CEO of Planned Parenthood


4. When Governor Snyder didn't answer and Representative Cartwright cut him off repeatedly



5. When Senators starting shouting at each other for minutes



So what really differs with Senator Kamala Harris? Senators who value their ability to cross examine a witness in their own way should take a second to check their implicit bias. Their actions speak much louder than their words.
