Everyone has that one boy we know was extremely bad for us. He did not care about our feelings and he barely texted us back, unless it was convenient for him. The problem? He was just so cute you couldn't help it. If you can relate to any of these maybe it's time you finally listen to your friends and dump that boy.

1. You probably have to hide the messages on your phone when he texts you.

You will be hanging out with your friends and his name pops up and you immediately will hide the screen towards yourself, so you avoid a lecture from your friends

2. You have gotten a lecture from your friends.

They probably have told you over and over that you are so much better than him and you deserve better. Problem is you just will not listen.

3. You have had to make excuses for him before, on more than one occasion.

You have either told yourself he is just in a rough patch right now, or you have defended his actions to your friends. You have probably said,"He is not normally like this." or "He needs me to get back on his feet."

4. He has made you cry at night.

Friends have come with ice cream and rom coms to soothe your aching soul.

5. He makes you feel like you are not worth it.

You've blamed yourself, saying it is your fault he is being this way. In fact you have defended him by saying you did something to make him mad.

6. "But he loves me!"

You have repeated this to yourself over and over again trying to justify why you still hold on to someone who hurts you.

7. He does not support you.

He cares more about talking about himself then asking how your day was.

8. He never stops to say nice things to you.

Do you even remember the last time he complimented something other than your beauty?

9. He makes you wait around for him.

Whether he is late to come get you, or waiting around for a response.

10. You have a terrible play list of sad songs.

Whether its Taylor Swift around the clock or Coldplay, you definitely have cried and connected deeply to songs about the way love should be.

Do not ever make excuses for a guy if he does not deserve it. A boyfriend should make you feel empowered, he should be one of your biggest supporters. He will wants whats best for you. How are you happy when hiding your phone from your friends and crying yourself to sleep all the time? Hold out for the right person and learn how to empower yourself, nothing good can come from a toxic boy.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
