The modern day cheese stick, a classic American snack.
But for a snack beloved by so many, it is disrespected every day. If you string your cheese, you are part of this problem.
Yes, stringing cheese - a most common practice - is actually rude and awful. Think of all the little cheese particles you are brutally separating. You're not stringing the cheese: you're skinning it. And for what? For what reason are you delaying the final termination of this snack? For your own fun (the epitome of playing with your food)? For ease of eating?
Whatever your reason for this cruel practice, stop. Just bite the thing, and end its suffering faster.
And if you just bite your cheese stick (the correct way to eat it), you'll end my suffering as well. I find it absolutely disgusting when people string their cheese; I just can't look at it. There is a bunch of different strings of varying thicknesses in different directions. I can't even properly describe it because even that makes me squeamish.
So please, stop stringing your cheese. Or at least stop stringing it in front of me. It's gross.
