You are most likely stressed out or stressing out, if you normally need to find ways to avoid stress. Nevertheless, be able to survive the stress of holidays, work, and everything in between. People weigh their stress above everything else and believe that they cannot prevent it. They believe they must live in stress because there is no other way to live, but that's completely far from true. Yes, stress can engulf us sometimes, but we must not perceive it as stress or we will be already so stressed that we become stuck in this rut of stress and anxiety. What do I do, then? Don't fret, don't stress.

Here are 6 ways to avoid stress no matter the situation:

1. CONFIDENCE

If you get stressed by everything, you must fight your stress with confidence. Believe with as much confidence as you can muster that YOU can SUCCEED against your stress, you can face every daily task, every difficulty, every stress, every obstacle, every different situation with the utmost sure-mindedness that you can adjust to your stress. YOU can CONQUER your stress, just don't rely on others to try to help you with confidence because stress starts with you and ends with you. It's all about what you do about stress.

2. Breathe

You can sleep! Close your eyes in your bed: stop the thinking! Relax and smile about something. Breath through your nostrils, drink a cup of water, keep yourself hydrated, find your center, meditate, and close your eyes the whole time. Breathe! Stop playing your music, turn off your phone! Nothing will help if you don't breathe and try to find your happy place, but don't stimulate yourself too much with thinking or you will stop breathing again. Breathe with your eyes closed and you will find your center in nothingness.

3. Sleep

Sleep is one of the most difficult things to achieve... when you're texting, when you're overthinking yourself, when you are overdoing YOU. RELAX. What you can't do tonight, write it down, and you can do it tomorrow! Breathing, water, and relaxing are key to getting the best night sleep you can possibly get and finding extra hours of the day to get sleep or resting or breathing or water are all key. You can sleep! Believe in yourself that you can sleep, breathe, drink marginal amounts of WATER, and you will find sleep. Think relaxing thoughts, think relaxing thoughts.

4. Water

Stress starts with not having enough water and enough sleep from the past few nights and the past few weeks. It's a complete lie that your body will adjust to not having a good night's sleep or not having enough water in you. It's a loaded thought that you do not need that much sleep: You are above sleep, you are above water, you are above your stress, that it is only related to your mind. Stop lying to yourself and others. You'll get a good night's sleep! Stop thinking, drink a portion of water, lay in your bed or sit (dark room-preferred), wait until you have to go to the bathroom, drink another cup of water, repeat until you are hydrated, relaxed, sleepy, and don't have to go to the bathroom again (drink lesser amounts). Lay down when you feel better and sleep is only a drop away.

5. Don't Talk

There is absolute no mandatory reason to talk to someone unless they talk to you. Also, it's fine to tell them that you're stressed out, and you can't talk now. "Give me a moment, I can't talk now, please." There you have it. Say that with subtle authority and they will leave you be. Still being near these people will be your fault so avoid the situation(s) and you will find your happy place though people can help out if you just listen to the world. Breathe and listen to the world, the conversations around you.

They do not affect you and you will not affect them because you need some time to relax, breathe, drink some water, and recover until you are 110% ready to reengage. If you are still not ready, then find something to get you ready because the world moves whether we want it to or not. Breathe, don't talk, BREATHE and close your eyes. There is your place of solace.

6. Room Service

If you can't find an empty room where you can be alone: Breathe. The bathroom is that place of relaxation where you can breathe, drink water, close your eyes for a minute (don't fall asleep silly). If you don't like the bathroom, find the second-most isolated place. For me, I like the outside so I can cool off or the shower or better yet, the darkest place you can find. Maybe even a corner where you are farthest away from everyone. Breathing is the most important thing whenever you are, anywhere, and talking will get you nowhere unless it is necessary, despite talking being necessary at some points. You WILL find that these are the ways to avoid your stress and anxiety. Believe it! Breathe it and it will happen!

Sleep controls everything, so don't forget to focus on sleep because sleep is everything and though people trump sleep, you cannot survive without sleep, water, breathing, closing your eyes. You cannot survive without you, but don't forget that you are NOT ALONE. Accept others as you should accept yourself.

Thank you. The Pres.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
