Stop Romanticizing Hot Female Teachers Abusing Students

Many men in our society seem to envy young boys who are abused by their attractive teachers.

A teacher who abuses a child in any way is a horrible teacher and is probably not in the profession for the right reasons. This goes for any teacher. Unfortunately, there is a double standard in our media when it comes to abuse from teachers. When a male teacher abuses a student, they are rightfully viewed as a monstrous human being. However, when an attractive female teacher sexually abuses a student, many men paint this woman as wonderful and the kid as a moron for opening his mouth.

Here are a few examples of comments and posts that show this problem. The identities of the individuals will be kept anonymous to protect them. Warning, some comments may be graphic or inappropriate.

  • “When I was 13, I wished my teachers looked like this. Now that I have a 13 year old of my own, I wish his teachers look like this.”
  • “Holy shit!,...wish when I grew up my teacher was hot looking like that!”
  • “I wish my teachers looked like that, these lil gay kids now a days”
  • “I wish my teacher look like that back in the days. Kid is so lucky”
  • “Damn I wish my teacher look like that.. I had old ones. I would of never told on her..”
  • “It just angers me. Here's a woman in her 20s who could get a lot more out of a guy in his 30s and 40s physically, sexually, and emotionally, then some punk teenager boy with no hair on his face and no hair on his pubic area, who is about as interesting as a rock.”

Disgusted? You should be. Many men in our society are essentially romanticizing pedophiles. This is a huge problem.

This kind of activity is encouraging this inappropriate behavior from teachers. Naturally, if an individual is going to abuse a child, they will probably do it regardless of the media. However, the fact that the stories are shared all over social media and the criminals are complimented on their looks could only encourage more people who have considered sexually abusing a child. This kind of positive publicity for rapists should not be allowed, regardless of their gender or looks.

Additionally, this kind of attitude shames the victims and might even discourage them from telling someone that they were abused. We should be encouraging young boys to tell someone if this happens. We should not tell victims that they are stupid or gay for opening their mouths. Let’s focus on catching predators instead of shaming victims.

The latest incident like this comes from a teacher in Texas who is now pregnant with her 13 year old student’s baby. Like every other time, there is far too much positive publicity on this issue. On top of this, the boy’s family was supportive of the relationship and excited about the baby before the teacher had an abortion. If that child was carried to birth, there would be several lives ruined. Yet some men continue to wish they had a hot teacher to have sex with when they were 13 years old.

How do we stop this? If you have sons who are still students or know someone who has boys in school, talk to them about this. Tell them why this is wrong. The media may make them think that this is ok. Also, don’t be afraid to tell people on social media why this is wrong. We need to protect our children, not envy rape victims.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
