For millions of baseball fans around the world, there is nothing like October. The air is crisp and cool, sunglasses are traded out for face warmers, and the champions of Major League Baseball will be crowned. This year, the 111th World Series will be played; contested are National League champs, The New York Mets and American League victors, The Kansas City Royals.

The Royals will have home field advantage against the Mets, being the American League won the All-Star Game. The first game will be played on Tuesday Oct. 27, 2015 at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Miss. The Royals are coming off of a win against the Toronto Blue Jays, whom they defeated 4-2 in the series. The New York Mets will be coming off of a five game winning streak after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL divisional series game, and then sweeping the Chicago Cubs to clinch the NL title.

The New York Mets are red hot coming into the World Series. With Daniel Murphy hitting home runs in six consecutive games, breaking an MLB post season record, Royals pitchers better be ready to work. The Mets' captain David Wright, Daniel Murphy, and lead off man Curtis Granderson have been consistently getting on base for the Amazin' Mets. The Royals had fans on the edge of their seats while playing against the Blue Jays. Notable Royals players, first baseman Eric Hosmer and third baseman Mike Moustakas, led their team to victory against Toronto after six games in the series.

The first pitching match up for game one is unknown. The Royals still have not announced their rotation for the World Series games. The Mets made the announcement that they will be using Matt Harvey as their starting pitcher in game one, Jacob deGromm in game two, Noah Syndergaard in game three, and Steven Matz in game four. The rotation for Kansas City appears like it will be Yordano Ventura in game one, Johnny Cueto in game two, Edinson Volquez in game three, and Chris Young in game four.

The Mets' last World Series appearance was a defeat back in 2000 against the New York Yankees. The Royals' last World Series appearance was last season in 2014. The Royals lost the series to the San Francisco Giants. The last time the Royals won the world series was in 1985, while the Mets won their last World Series the next season in 1986 against the Boston Red Sox.

Both teams have fought tooth and nail throughout the season to make it to The World Series. The Royals are hoping to make up for last year's loss to the Giants and the Mets are hoping to win the series for the first time in 29 years.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
