Hey girls it's August you know what that means. Sweaters are in and swimsuits are out. While it is sad that summer has came to a closure, it is the perfect time to grab those cute bikini tops.

During the month of August a large number of stores like Rue21, Aerie, and PINK begin adding their swimsuit to the clearance section. Of course this is due to the companies getting new shipment and the weather beginning to drop. I mean not everyone is swimming in their pools while sipping on pumpkin spice latte.

While a large number of people do not want to spend their cash on items they would not be able to use till next year, but luckily your swimsuits you purchase this month can still be used.

College students typically can swim in the pool at their university. This is a great opportunity to not only post cute bikini pics off season but go for a dip in the pool. Did I mention that you can scoop out the shirtless boys at the pool? Plus visiting the pool is the perfect way to make new friends or a significant other.

While some of you may not attend a college or university, there are still numerous places that offer indoor swimming pools. While a large number of hotels offer indoor swimming pools and hot tubs, it is typically very pricey. Luckily many gyms and work out centers offer pools to use. For example, the YMCA has an indoor pool for anyone to swim in. While there is no hot tub included, there is a timer. Maybe you can begin testing yourself to see how many laps you can swim within two minutes.

If you're still trying to find stores that are having sales on their swimwear, a list is below. Not every store is listed, just a small number.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
