I personally struggled to find my sense of home after moving and having to continue my college journey elsewhere. One way that helped me find a new home was embracing my passions, specifically photography.

Photography has become my new tool to help me feel more comfortable with big changes, such as moving somewhere new. I began to take photographs of the places that mean the most to me and that I spent the most time in, and I found myself feeling more at home.

Here is a list of 11 photographs, taken by me, of places that helped me make Stillwater home and why they're so significant.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.
