1.Be optimistic

There are so many unfortunate people in the world that would do anything to be studying. Find yourself extremely lucky! Also, always remember when things turn south, your education will never leave you but lead you.

2.Encourage other students

if you are feeling stressed about school, chances are you are not the only one. School can be a very stressful environment, but realize that there is always someone you can talk to when you need help. encourage others to be the best they can be so positivity is the only thing radiating through the halls.

3. Take feedback constructively

Don't get yourself down when a teacher gives you feedback on your work. Take what they say to your advantage to do better and improve your skills. If you feel they might have graded you unfairly, talk to them and see why they gave you that grade.

4.Smile

iIt is scientifically proven that when you do the act of smiling, even if you aren't happy, your mood instantly improves and so does the moods of the people around you. Also remember that sometimes all a person needs to see in a stressful day is a warm smile.

5.Stay patient with yourself

No need to rush things. Do your work on time and you'll have extra time to yourself. If you're struggling with school, there are teachers for a reason. Don't be afraid to ask for help, you will not seem dumb for caring about your education and future. Because in the end, your future depends on you and what you make of it.

5.NO NEED FOR DRAMA!

Drama only adds stress and negative vibes. Every high school or school, in general, is going to have its clicks and drama circles. Try not to get associated with them! Remember there is always going to be someone that doesn't like you for whatever reason but adding back to that dislike isn't going to get anyone anywhere.

6.Balance study and relaxation

Studying may seem like a hassle, but at the end you'll see the great result. Get your studying out of the way little by little, and don't try to rush it because at the end, you want to actually understand. But also don't try to cram too much info at one time, take a break and relax: hangout with some friends, go out for ice cream, etc.

7. Reward yourself

Once you get that big A on your exam or work, don't forget to go out and celebrate! It's always great to reward yourself when you do something good especially when it will benefit your future in so many ways! Always believe that you can and you will go a long way! No one can change your future other than you. Do the best of what you have and try your hardest, also try to have some fun along the way.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
