Life seems to get in the way of our happiness sometimes, and there are instances where you cannot control that. But, you can control how that one event in your life controls the long term effects on yourself.
For most of you, you are in college pursuing a career you always wanted to do. Then you realize how much work is actually put into that specific career and it seems to be overbearing. You may be stressed about an upcoming exam and or just homework within itself.
Whether you get good grades or you don't, your overall attitude to the stress and bad events happening in your life, really do effect your everyday look at things. It also effects the good things that can come your way.
The way I see it, there are two sides to every problem. There is a good side and a bad side. The bad side would be you seeing the negative short term effects the problem causes. While the good is being able to see past the short term effects and see that the problem can actually be used to better yourself and use it as a learning experience.
If I had learned anything about life, it's that life is not fair. But, life is what you make of it.
Would you rather take a foundation and run every time it cracks? Or would you rather take the steps to fill it in and make it stronger? Those are the choices life will hand you, you can either dwell on the bad in life and attract the bad. Or you can learn from the bad and make yourself stronger, ultimately making yourself happier.
So the question lies with you, do you want to allow the bad in your life to dictate your happiness. Orwould you rather acknowledge the bad but use it to strengthen your foundation and see the good that comes out of the bad?
