1. Nyquil

One of the best things to do while sick is to get enough sleep. Nyquil can help because you can fall asleep earlier in order to help you get better.

2. Hot Tea

One of the best things to drink is hot tea when you feel a cold coming on. Specifically, green tea helps you to stay hydrated and soothes your throat. Although, some people swear by peppermint or lemon tea. No matter what the flavor, it will help your throat and your overall sickness. Tea can even help clear up congestion, which can help you to recover quicker.

3. Water

Hydration is key when you are sick. Water helps your digestive system and helps to flush out germs that might be in yours. Sometimes, people forget to drink water while they are sick and it can be one of the worst things you can do. So, don't forget to keep the water bottle handy!

4. Naps 

Rest is the most effective way to feel healthier while you are sick. If you have a tough time falling asleep or keep waking up in the middle of the night, it might be time to try an afternoon nap. Naps are great because they help your body to recover when you are not getting enough sleep. You might even feel more energized post-nap and feel more prepared to be more productive with the rest of your day.

5. Cough Drops

Cough Drops help to soothe the throat and cool your airway passages. If anything cough drops will distract you from the other symptoms you might be experiencing while you are sick. You can choose which flavor is your favorite and ease your mind as well as your sickness.
