It's always hurricane season and you're going to need more than just an umbrella to keep yourself as dry as my humor. Stay dry, get creative, and maybe even become popular at your school if you make use of these smart ideas. Here are five ways to keep the wet away.

1. Shoe bags

You might not want to buy these monstrosities and you don't have to! Just grab a couple plastic bags from your nearest dining hall and tie them around your shoes. White shoe wearers will thank me for saving their lives.

2. Bring a raincoat—but not for you

The raincoat is to put over your probably non-waterproof backpack. Follow this rule or else water will seep in and soak your 1000 dollar laptop.

3. Stand under someone else's umbrella

Of course, the person who was responsible enough to bring an umbrella in the first place should be covered more. So you must cling onto your friend as if you're in a Korean drama. Hug them until the rain stops and until the next episode.

4. Double/triple/quadruple umbrellas

I've seen too many fallen soldiers AKA umbrellas in the trash when it rains. You should have all eight of your backup umbrellas armed and ready for the worst.

5. Walk around in a tent

Tents are literally made to shield humans from the elements, yet no one walks around in a tent when it rains. Pitiful. Sacrifice your pride and pack a tent the next time it rains.

Toilet Troubles

"So, usually I would never go on a Tinder date but when you are out with girlfriends and a hot Bosnian guy says he wants to hang with you and his friends, you oblige. We head to their apartment and when I realized I may pee my pants if I don't find a bathroom soon. I ask for the bathroom and a friend of my tinder date shows me to it and said in all seriousness that I was not allowed to flush the toilet under ANY circumstances. Having a few drinks--or five--I relieved myself to, nevertheless, flush the toilet. Within seconds, his bathroom was flooded and towels were laid out everywhere to catch the toilet water. To say the least, we were not invited back"

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.
