We all know the feeling. When you're standing inline at Starbucks and it finally gets to your turn. When the barista asks you what your order is, you completely blank. You end up staring at the large board behind the barista and ordering the first thing that you see. Hopefully, next time you go to Starbucks, this list will help you to try a new drink that you may not have tried before and love.

1. Latte with one pump of pumpkin

Personally, I think that at times, pumpkin spice lattes can be too sweet to consume. They contain a lot of added sugar that can make it hard for people to enjoy while on a diet. Therefore, my mom and I looked for a way to combine the pumpkin taste in a pumpkin spice latte that we love, with less sweetness. The best way to have this is by ordering a plain latte with one pump of pumpkin added to it. Therefore, it has the pumpkin taste that you love, but does not contain too much flavoring.

2. White chocolate mocha

This hidden gem is one of my favorite drinks to get on a cold day. Personally, I love homemade mocha lattes, but the Starbucks regular mocha lattes I do not enjoy. One alternative to a regular mocha that has a lighter, and more interesting taste is a white chocolate mocha. The white chocolate makes the drink something you would not typically be able to make at home. This way, you will be getting a drink that is unique.

3. Iced Caramel Macchiatto

One of my favorite drinks from Starbucks that I enjoy in the summertime is an iced caramel macchiato. This two tone drink combines the sweetness from the caramel and the bitterness of the coffee. The fact that it is so chilled as well makes it the perfect thing to enjoy when it is so hot out. As you drink it, the flavors combine to make the caramel and coffee mix together to create new flavor as you near the bottom of it.

4. Dragon drink

The dragon drink is a healthier alternative than the traditional Starbucks drinks, and an all time favorite for lots of customers. It is known for its bright colors and flavors that are mixed in this drink. The drink combines açaí, pieces of dragonfruit, and coconut milk to make this drink better health wise for customers. Added with the dragonfruit flavors makes it flavorful. Additionally, the ice makes it perfect for the summertime.

5. Peppermint mocha

The perfect holiday season drink is the peppermint mocha. This classic drink includes the bitterness from coffee contrasted by the sweet chocolate, added with the refreshing peppermint. The combination makes you want to drink this everyday. Chocolate lovers are drawn into this drink due to the rich chocolate undertone of the mocha. The peppermint is the perfect holiday twist.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
