Are you tired of studying in your boring school's library or lounge? Have no fear! Starbucks is here! Mixing up your study spaces can increase your productivity level, also there's coffee involved. For those of you who have either, 1) never been to a Starbucks or 2) never studied in a Starbucks, may want to read and take some notes.

First of all, grab some of those people that you call friends or even a classmate from your class. You don't want to be alone at Starbucks. Plus, who wants to suffer alone? We're all college students experiencing hell, just at different levels. Also, you can talk to them when you do take a break from cramming! Invite that cute boy from work, if you want.

Second, make sure to actually bring enough homework and assignments to complete in the time that you are at Starbucks. Remember, there is more effort going to Starbucks instead of the usual lounge on campus. Make it worth the trip!

And of course, get some coffee in your system! Don't like coffee? Starbucks does have a variety of teas, smoothies, and more. You're bound to find something that you like. While you're at it, add an extra espresso shot, or five.

When you have acquired your coffee, find the most comfy spot in the Starbucks lounge. You will be here for a few hours and don't want to be stuck at an uncomfortable bar stool because the sorority girls called the couch and comfy armchairs.

Why suffer in your pure boredom? Get a great playlist going! You're going to be here for awhile anyways. You might as well enjoy the copious amounts of homework your professor assigned. Turn on some Britney Spears or listen to studying music. Your choice!

Big tip for beginners: DO NOT FORGET YOUR CHARGERS! Your laptop will be dead and so will your ambitions and determination. Nobody wants this outcome.

Remember that awesome playlist you created? Well, too bad. You can't listen to it because you forgot the necessity: HEADPHONES. No one wants to listen to your Britney Spears playlist. Sorry, not sorry.

Also, make sure to actually have money in your account to buy Starbucks. It's not exactly cheap. This tends to be a big issue with college students. Also, you don't need anymore stress than you already have.

Make sure to check the hours of your local Starbucks! You don't want to be the person walking in five minutes before closing time. Starbucks employees will remember your face and mess up your Pumpkin spice latte on purpose, or worse... misspell your name.

With all that hard work you're doing, you are going to need a snack! Personally, I like the cake pops and lemon loaves. Pick your calories and enjoy! The sugar cookies are also pretty good, too...

Last but not least, their Wi-Fi is actually functioning and decent. College campus internet connections usually are not too good, so this should be a big motivator for those of you who are questioning. There's nothing worse than when the Wi-Fi goes out and you were just turning in your homework on your school's website.

Overall, Starbucks is a good place for late night study sessions. The hours are usually later than other places and there's coffee! What else is there to say? Oh yeah, THE WI-FI. Other than that, it's a different atmosphere than your college campus and can lead you to a more successful study session! So, why not take a chance and try out your local Starbucks for the next time you decide to hit the books?!

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you

Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

Finals: just thinking about them gives you anxiety. Only two weeks separate you from summer, but they're the longest of the semester. There's a familiarity to this season, now that you have had so many testing cycles under your belt. But that doesn't quell the ever present stress to pass your finals and your classes. Even better, as a package deal during these wonderful weeks, you get to wake up early to study and you get to take exams that can begin anytime from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
