If you didn't already know, Starbucks has a "secret menu." It's full of hundreds of great drink ideas that there is bound to be one that you'll call your new favorite. There are drinks for everyone, including non-coffee drinkers (like me). Not all drinks are well-known because the list is ever-changing, but all drinks provide a recipe that you can give your barista. The website even has a secret size! The link to the secret menu is http://starbuckssecretmenu.net/.

The website has tons of recipes that it can be confusing for someone just discovering it, so check out some of the fan favorites below and some of my personal favorites.

1. Cap'n Crunch Berry (Frappuccino)

One of the best cereals put into a drink, yes please. This is one of my personal favorites and it's super refreshing all the time.

Recipe:
Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino
Add caramel syrup (1/2 pump for a tall, 1 pump for grande, 1.5 pumps for venti)
Add toffee syrup (1 pump tall, 1.5 pumps grande, 2 pumps venti
Add hazelnut syrup (1/2 pump for a tall, 1 pump for grande, 1.5 pumps for venti)
Optional: Add java chips if you want some crunch

2. Butterbeer (Frappuccino)

For the Harry Potter super fans, if you want to get as close as you can to the Wizarding World, this is it.

Recipe: [grande size]
Ask for a Creme Frappuccino base. Don’t skimp on the fat by asking for skim or 2% milk as whole milk is required for the right consistency
Add 3 pumps of caramel syrup
Add 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup
Top with caramel drizzle

3. Strawberry Lemonade Tea

For the non-coffee lovers looking for something new, this one's for you. Super refreshing drink because summer's just around the corner.

Recipe:
Strawberry lemonade with equal parts black iced tea and lemonade
Half the regular amount of strawberry
Blend and enjoy!

4. Fall In a Cup (Latte)

For those of you not ready for summer yet, skip ahead to fall with this drink. The smell alone will take you there.

Recipe:
Pumpkin Spice Latte
Add Caramel syrup (1.5 pumps for tall, 2 pumps for grande, 2.5 pumps for venti, 3 pumps for a cold venti
Add Chai Syrup ( 1 pump for tall, 1.5 pumps for grande, 2 pumps for venti, 2.5 for cold venti)Top with whipped cream, pumpkin powder and caramel drizzle

(This one is also available in Frappuccino form!)

5. Turtle Macchiato

This one's for the fancy coffee drinkers out there and the chocolate lovers. You can enjoy this one hot or iced!

Recipe:
Mocha syrup (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
Caramel syrup (2 pumps tall, 3 grande, 4 venti)
Add choice of milk
Add espresso shots
Criss-cross over the foam or whip with mocha and caramel syrup

These are only a few of the drinks. You better start now if you want to try them all. I know I am.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
