As we are slowly getting over our loss of the molten chocolate drinks Starbucks gifted us for Valentine’s Day, the coffee chain has decided to help mend our broken hearts with two brand new flavors.
On Tuesday, Feb. 16 Starbucks will release the Smoked Butterscotch Latte and the Teavana Green Tea Citrus Latte in the U.S. and Canada.
The new flavors are based on seasonal drinks that were available at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room in Seattle – Starbucks’ ultimate experimentation lab.
According to Starbucks, the Butterscotch Latte consists of espresso, steamed milk, a “smoked butterscotch sauce,” and “a sprinkling of Butterscotch sugar – perfect for when you need a little extra warmth on cold days, and just a kiss of buttery caramel.” YUM!
While the Green Tea Citrus Latte “combines shade-grown, micro-ground full leaf green tea, sweetened with citrus mint syrup, hand-frothed with steamed milk and finished with notes of citrusy lemon."
Both drinks will be available until March 21 hot, iced, or blended.
Which drink will you try first?
