I can not explain my excitement I have to go back to Cuse for this Spring semester. I can not wait to see my roommate and continue to meet new people. And, I will not have both of my parents constantly yelling at me to get up earlier, unload the dish washer or, to make sure that I come home before 10 p.m.

Okay, I might be exaggerating a little bit. Living back at home this last month has been pretty nice because I have been able to check up on some sleep which is something that I never seem to get enough of while I am at school.

But, with all the fun that school is comprised of also brings a lot of work. (Queue crying because of the four 8 Ams that I have this next semester). So here are some drink suggestions to try out at Starbucks for those mornings when you really do need some caffeine in order to stay awake through class.

1. Hot Vanilla Latte with soy milk.

I usually ask for 2 pumps of vanilla instead of the usual 4 pumps. This way the drink still has flavor but it is not overpoweringly sweet.

2. Chai Tea.

For those days when I am not really feeling like coffee. You can get either the Chai Latte or the Chai Tea (make sure you ask for just the tea bags).

3. Iced Green Tea Lemonade.

Green Tea has caffeine in it and it also has a lot of health benefits. This drink is super refreshing when its not a tundra outside. Or, if you just are not in the mood for hot coffee.

4. Iced Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato.

Definitely a more decadent choice.

5. Black Iced Coffee With Room.

A very basic order but something about the coffee at Starbucks is just way better than the iced Coffee that I attempt to make in my dorm room.

I hope these drink ideas make it easier to deviate from your standard order but without feeling overwhelmed from all of the choices that their normal menu offers. Maybe you will find one of your new favorite drinks. Or, this will just help make class time a little bit better. Good luck to everyone in this next semester!!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
