Starbucks Drinks You Need To Try

There's something for everyone!

While there's a debate over whether Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts is better, I know that Starbucks is the best. There's something perfect for everyone at Starbucks, whether they drink coffee or not. What's even better is that almost anything can be made for you at Starbucks, you just have to ask. I've tried many drinks at Starbucks, some that aren't even on the menu. Here's a list of the best drinks to get/try from Starbucks:

1. Strawberry Acai Refresher with Lemonade.

The strawberry acai refresher is usually made with water, but substituting in lemonade instead of water is the best thing that could happen to this drink. The lemonade cuts the sweetness of the strawberry, giving you a perfectly balanced sip. While there's no coffee in this drink, it still contains caffeine which gives you the boost you need to get through your day. Many people also sub lemonade into the cool lime refresher.

2. Peppermint Mocha, Iced.

While the peppermint mocha is only on the menu in the winter, the baristas at Starbucks can make them year round. The peppermint mocha tastes like a chocolate covered candy cane, and when you get it iced instead of hot, the flavors seem to pop out more. This is a must try if you're a fan of the peppermint mocha.

3. Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino.

This is one of the most popular limited-time frappuccinos. I love it and thought it was gone forever, until I looked up the full Starbucks menu online and realized that it was still possible to order it. This mix of toffee nut syrup, ice, milk, coffee, caramel, and mocha is to die for. Some new baristas may look at you funny when you ask for this drink, but the veterans at your local shop can help them out with making this delicious combo.

4. Add in Chocolate Chips.

One of my favorite things to do is to add chocolate chips to frappuccinos that don't have them already. Try adding chocolate chips to the caramel frap, the salted caramel mocha frap, or even the mocha frap to change it up a little bit.

5. Hot Tea.

Almost everyone knows that Starbucks sells iced tea, but people tend to forget that they sell hot tea as well. On a cold day or when you're sick, Starbucks hot tea is a lifesaver. They have a huge variety, such as peach (my favorite), mint, and the classics. Much like a hot coffee, hot tea will make you warm inside, and some even still contain caffeine.

6. Hot Chocolate.

For some reason, I feel like a lot of people forget about Starbucks hot chocolate as well. Made to order from steamed milk, Starbucks hot chocolate is amazing on a winter day. They even have peppermint hot chocolate and salted caramel hot chocolate, which are both equally as satisfying as the original.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
