Whether it's your weird middle school haircut or your "new hair, new me" college haircut, almost all of us have decided to try out the short hair style. Maybe you looked fabulous and found your new forever hairstyle. Or maybe you're like me and like the short hair but miss so many things about your long hair. The journey begins now.

1. "Short hair is fabulous."

It's super easy to fix and takes me 2.5 seconds to blow dry. Short hair is the best hair.

2. "Time to go out, gotta curl my hair."

Good gosh. This is not going to work.

3. "Okay, so I've decided to grow my hair back out. I don't like this anymore."

Ah... How naive you were in this decision. You thought it was going to be as easy as cutting off your hair. Wrong, sister, just wrong.

4. "It's so weird that it's taking this long."

But maybe it's just hard to get it started. Just keep it cool.

5. "This is ridiculous."

Okay, you're definitely not keeping it cool.

6. "So I bought Mane 'n' Tail."

The research has begun. My hairstylist and google say horse shampoo is the way to go. Horse shampoo. Really.

7. "Maybe short hair isn't that bad. I'm about to cut it back off I hate this awkwardness."

The second thoughts have begun. What have I gotten myself into?

8. "There's no going back now."

No, hold out. You've made it this far. You can do it.

9. "Wow, love your hair. Want to donate it... to me?"

You start to stalk girls on Instagram who have long luscious hair. In public, you find yourself staring at these plentiful beauties. You've got yourself a hair crush.

10. "I'd like to thank everyone who believed in me."

You made it. Everyone around you is so happy they no longer have to hear about your hair struggles.

11. "Okay, I'm tired of this. My hair's too heavy it's giving me a headache."

Back to square one.

Unlike a lot of things you can do, a haircut isn't a forever decision. The locks will grow back, thank goodness. So cut your dang hair. Rock it.

But keep in mind, it's a long journey back.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
