It's always fun to go out, but is it fun when you're not 21? There could be a struggle trying to get through a night with a group of friends that are all 21. Going from bar to bar, paying for covers, not being able to drink, in a night, it could become a drag. Here are seven stages you go through a night out when you're not 21.

1. Where are we going?

You start the night excited, you have been waiting for this all day, let's figure out where we're going and let's do this!

2. What am I trying to wear?

After the talking, sitting in the couch with your friends trying to figure out what to do, you guys finally got it, and it's now time to go and get ready. The question now is, what should I wear?!?!

3. I need to at least look 21…

When you're not 21, you at least don't want to look like you're not. This is the moment when you're starting at your closet an decide, why not go a little extra tonight.

4. Ok, I’m ready, let’s do this

Every single one of your friends is ready, and that could probably be the most stressful part of your night, you all get in a car and head out. The night is finally about to begin.

5. Uhh let’s go there!

Everything is overwhelming, you want to go there, or why not that one, everywhere is the place to go. This is the best time of your life so far!

6. Really do I have to go to another bar for 5 minutes, pay, then leave?

Of course after like an hour you start to realize that of course, there is a thing called covers. $5 dollars here, $10 there and suddenly you're broke and not having as much fun anymore. Of course, all those 21 year old's do not have to pay anything...

7. Can I just go home already, I’m broke...

You reach the point in your night where you can't take it anymore. Every bar is taking your money and now you're just tired and ready for the night to end.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads.
