After weeks, months, and sometimes even years, the time has finally come. You've sat through the endless amounts of drama, mystery, romance, and arguments. It's had you on the edge of your seat more times than you can count and don't even get me started on how many tears you've shed throughout the duration of the series. You've spent countless hours screaming at your screen and staying up way too late for "just one more episode" and now it's all suddenly about to end.
You have reached the final episode of the show you're currently binge watching and you're not one hundred percent sure what to do with yourself, but don't worry you're not alone. Here are the nine stages of finishing a show on Netflix.
1. You log on to Netflix and click continue watching on your current obsession only to realize that you're nearing the end of the final season.
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. It's almost that time.
2. But you try to ignore it and live in denial as long as you possibly can.
It can't be the end already. I still have a few more episodes to go. It's fine.
3. And then all the missing puzzle pieces start falling into place and you know the end is near.
Oooh, that makes so much more sense! But there has to be some new mystery that pops up... Right?
4. The credits start rolling and you sit there hoping and praying that there's one more episode even though you know there's not.
Come on Netflix, don't disappoint me.
5. Netflix's sidebar pops up and reads "Play Season 1 Episode 1".
Alright, guess it's time to go crawl under a rock.
6. You sit there for a moment and let it all sink in while telling yourself that you're never going to find a show as good as the one you just finished.
I don't know what to do anymore.
7. And then the endless scrolling through TV shows and movies begin.
No. Nope. No. Ew, who would make a show about that?!
8. Until you finally find something that looks like it has potential and decide to give it a shot.
I guess we can try this one...
9. And you end up getting sucked in all over again.
It's a never ending cycle.
