Every year, Valentine's Day roles around and you and your significant other really don't want another boring dinner date. Here're 12 creative Valentine's Day dates to make your day special.

1. Romantic Dinner at Home

This is a really great way to make your V-Day special and save some money. Set up a little table with a couple of chairs, throw a decorative cloth over it, and light a candle. Then you can cook dinner for you and your significant other to make for a special night.

2. In Home Theatre

No one wants to sit in a crowded theatre with a bunch of other couples watching a movie of Valentine's Day. The most romantic fix for that is to make an at home theatre. Make sure you've picked up your favorite movie snacks and/or a pizza. You can rent a projector or just use your television and set up a big blanket and pillow pile to watch your movie together.

3. Star-Gazing

Pack up some blankets and pillows and take a drive to the best view of the city or stars nearby. Then set up your blankets in the back and just lay down and talk. It'll be beautiful out and you can get to know each other better.

4. Central West End

A night out in Central West End can be so much fun! There are tons of shops and little restaurants to go through.

5. Breakfast Date

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why not go out for breakfast on V-Day? There are a ton of really cute breakfast places downtown and in Kirkwood.

6. Plan The Night For Her

Girls hate being in charge of the plans so for just one night maybe pick out a cute outfit for her and surprise her with whatever you've planned. She'll be thrilled to not have to do anything for the night.

7. Outdoor Adventures

Since it tends to be chilly in The Lou during February Hidden Valley could be a lot of fun for skiing or snow boarding. If snow isn't really your thing you could go hiking together or try ice skating.

8. A Little Friendly Competition

Try going to the arcade to play some games, black-light mini golf, go karts, rock wall climbing, bowling, or maybe a night in with some board games.

9. The City Museum

There's no better way to feel like kids again than running around The City Museum.

10. The Arch

A trip up to The Arch is never disappointing. The view is incredible and it could be a first time experience for one of you.

11. Book A Hotel

There are plenty of beautiful hotels to stay in downtown where you can enjoy some quiet alone time and maybe even get in the hot tub or swim!

12. Ice Cream Date

Go around trying small portions of the best ice cream St. Louis has to offer. From Ted Drew's to the Snow Factory you're guaranteed to have a great time.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
