I was blessed enough to find my person at a pretty young age, 18 months old to be exact. We have grown into individuals; young women who could not be more different in our hobbies, our personalities, and our life goals. You are the extrovert to my introvert, the laughter to my seriousness, and the wild to my calm. You are my truest opposite and my best match. You are my sister, and you are my person.

Thank goodness we both share an unhealthy love for Grey's Anatomy because here's why you're my person.

1. You get my silly side

You're the only one I can truly be myself with. You don't judge me when I want to act like I'm six years old again (maybe because you always act that way?? LOL kidding). We call each other from thousands of miles away and I can't stop laughing long enough to get a conversation in. You get my funny.

2. "Are You Guys Drunk..."

We are drunk best friends. Any time, any place (sorry, Mom). Whenever we see each other out it's the immediate, " OMG, You'll never guess what happened tonight, It's UNREAL". Then we chase our stories with shots and a selfie, which you force someone to take forty different times because we have the same good side, UGH.

3. "When's the best time to text *insert crazy ex-boyfriend's name here*"

We, well I, give the best sisterly advice. I repeat: DO NOT TEXT HIM. You are strong, you are powerful, you don't need no' man! You can be real with me when no one else can, because we understand each other like no one else does. How many times do we catch ourselves saying "No one else gets its it!!" when we tell each other our deepest secrets, only to realize we have the same ones.

4. We handle the mental breakdowns for each other

I love being the person that puts life in perspective for you. I was born first so I have this unspoken role as a big sister to make sure you're doing okay. When you call me with that monthly "What am I doing with my life" freak out, I got you. Don't worry. I've been there, we all have, and unfortunately it's not a one time deal. But fear not little sis, I'm ready for ya.

5. We aren't afraid to tell it like it is

We don't have that "be nice factor" when sh*t gets real, because we're sisters. We don't sugar coat or beat around the bush. If I'm messing up my life I expect you to set me on the straight and narrow, no if's, and's, or but's about it. I will never hesitate to knock you back into reality because your success is just as important as my own.

6. We drive each other absolutely crazy

You are pretty much the bane of my existence, but in a good way. You drive me nuts 98.5% of the time, but that other 1.5% you're great! We all need a little crazy in our lives and you without a doubt are mine. Like every time you steal, and ultimately ruin my clothing, then silently place it back in my closet like I bought that shirt with a pizza stain on it and i'll never even notice! (Wish you could see me rolling my eyes as I'm thinking back to this exact instance.)

7. We push each other

One of us could be chief, or the president, or whatever we want to be in this world. We are a tag team of power sisters. We both understand each other's greatness even when we underestimate our own. When we fall down, we pick each other up because we are meant to move forward and conquer each and every obstacle we face.

8. Regardless of what's going on in our own lives, we make time for each other

I don't care what I'm going through, if you need me, call me. No problem is too small and no question too dumb. I will always have time for you. Nothing is or ever will be more important to me than you.

9. We put things into perspective

Nothing is ever as bad as it seems. We take a step back and realize the normalcy of all our problems, and sometimes that's all we need to hear. We have days that are sad and angry, and some that are bubbly and happy. All emotions are normal, and everyone reacts to things differently, I'll always be here to keep you grounded.

10. You are the sun

I don't care if this is about a boy, a job, a house, or whatever the other thing in life may be, you are the sun. Don't let anything overpower who you are and who you've come to be. You are one of the best people I know, and nothing should change the way you see yourself. You are my person and my sister, I love you more than I can put into words.

Don't ever stop shining.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
