Looking for some new jams to listen to this spring while chilling on Marist Beach, driving with the windows rolled down or just enjoying the warm weather? Look no further!

1. "Space Cowboy" by Kacey Musgraves:

Kacey Musgraves’ long-awaited ‘Golden Hour’ album dropped this March and it has already received tons of accolades from the media, including USA Today, who declared the album “may be 2018’s best album yet.” While this album is a total gem and has a lot of memorable songs on it, "Space Cowboy" might be one of Kacey’s best. The story behind the song is also totally meaningful, so if you’re into country music and need an easy-going tune to sing along with this spring, "Space Cowboy is" for you.

2. "Paper Doll" by John Mayer:

When John Mayer released this track on his 2013 album, "Paradise Valley," there was a ton of talk surrounding this song regarding the identity of the ‘paper doll’ that Mayer sings of. Most fans (and genius.com!) seem to believe that this was written in response to Taylor Swift’s "Dear John," a song from her 2010 album, "Speak Now," and that Swift is the person Mayer is singing about. Even though "Paper Doll" is a few years old, there’s one thing that is indisputable: this song is a timeless jam. Listen to it when you’re driving on back roads around town with the windows rolled down.

3. "Ophelia" by The Lumineers:

If indie and alternative music are more your speed, check out this upbeat yet chill song by the band that brought you the hit song, "Ho Hey." The Lumineers, a band from New Jersey, have mastered this genre, and this song has some super catchy (and pretty!) lyrics. Though the meaning of the song is rather elusive, it tackles themes such as the fleeting feelings of fame, reflecting on the past, and regrets.

4. "When It Rains It Pours" by Luke Combs:

Who doesn’t love a bit of irony? This simply hilarious break-up song by Luke Combs will have you totally laughing. Diverging from the typical connotation of the phrase, "when it rains it pours," Combs delivers a track that is equal parts catchy and funny. Read the background story of this country hit that is totally perfect for your next sunny day road trip here.

5. "Oceans Away" by A R I Z O N A:

In an interview with Earmilk, the band stated that the song, in a word, is about distance. This song, which explores the sentiment of being oceans away from home and a person’s loved ones, is totally laid-back and easy to listen to, so put this on either your studying playlist to jam out to while at the library or to chill out with earbuds in at Marist Beach.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
