Mudhouse is a cozy establishment tucked away on South Ave. The prime time to go is during the evening hours when the ambient lighting and indie music come alive. Although It can get crowded during the late hours of the day, Mudhouse can be a great chill date spot. They have mostly smaller circle tables with a few long ones and comfy lounge chairs. Not only do they serve coffee in all forms, but also muffins, sandwiches, buddha bowls, smoothies and so much more. Perfect for those who love the coffee shop vibe but not so much the coffee. The employees are goofy, fun and love to joke around with you adding to the lighthearted vibe.

The Coffee Ethic is a great spot to have a slow morning and to get some work done. It's a quaint place located on the square, with narrow brick walls, long wooden benches, and great lighting. It tends to get crowded quickly due to the limited seating, but the customers are very accommodating when it comes to making room. The employees are very wholesome people who show a friendly face every time I'm in there. Coffee Ethic's specialty is quality coffee, with the addition of a few café items if you snag one early in the day. Their iced vanilla latte with oat milk, paired with the chocolate chip walnut scone is a good combination to try sometime. Also, they are avid promoters of zero waste, so they minimize their use of one-time use plastic.
Coffee and Burritos at Kingdom Coffeehttps://www.kingdomsgf.com/
Kingdom Coffee sits on the corner of Market Ave and McDaniel St. with large open windows surrounding the front of the shop. It's the most spacious and industrial out of the three, and it's the best place to grind at all hours of the day. They have long accommodating tables for group study sessions, as well as bar seating, and a more casual sitting room with cushioned couches. The tall ceilings, open framework and metal chairs add to the simplistic industrial vibe, though the chairs can make your butt go numb. The employees are the definition a hipster and are incredibly friendly. Kingdom also has a simpler menu and uses sustainable dishware. Their coffee is absolutely delicious. It's recommended to pair a cup with the potato and egg breakfast burrito.
