Another semester bites the dust. The beautiful thing is that the close of one semester usually leads to the beginning of another. So the burning question: What classes should you fill your life with for the first four months of 2015?
For some, options are limited. Core and major requirements take up all hours and leave no time for recreational courses. However, students with a bit more wiggle room may be searching for a few good fillers. That ideal, slightly-outlandish class that teaches something cool but does not penalize the GPA. For anyone who falls into that category, here are a few little gems for your consideration that you might not have known TCU offered:
ARST 60140 Painting
Even if you aren't a Picasso, it's good for the soul.
NTDT 10103 Food Preparation
Apparently there is a lab portion where you get to just cook food. What more do you need in life?
PEAC 10721 Raquetball
No other sport creates a more intimidating athlete...
MUSI 11040 Class Piano
Because you should have listened to your dad when he told you at age 12 you would regret quitting. They always know...
DANC 20442 Hip Hop
Popping and locking is (almost) a proven stress reliever.
PHIL 10003 Philosophy One-Meaning of Life
If there's a chance it's as simple as taking a class to figure this one out, then why not give it a try.
WRIT 10203 Intro to Creative Writing
You could probably use some more designated creativity time in your life.
CHIN 10163 Beginning Chinese
This could change your whole future. Or do nothing for you. Only time will tell.
Obviously the TCU class search is at every student's disposal, but the drop down list of class categories is overwhelming enough in and of itself. Hopefully having a few options weeded out here inspires you in some type of way.
And remember, learning is fun.
