The New Year for any person is full of new goals and resolutions in order to better ourselves. We get motivated and excited to do new and different tasks not according to our regular routine. But for college students, there’s a list of New Year’s resolutions that we all make to try to accomplish for the next semester. They may be a long shot, but aren’t all the resolutions?
1. Go to the library more.
We all need to live there anyway. Plus, they have free printing!
2. Watch less TV in order to study more.
No more Netflix to distract me! But maybe I'll watch just one more season...
3. Be more organized.
I'll keep all my notes and write down my homework in a planner.
4. Dress nicer for class.
Sweatpants and workout clothes are nice and all, but I need to make better impressions. Look good, feel good--right?
5. Go to more office hours.
Getting to know your teachers gives a good impression. And they might give you extra credit!
6. Join more clubs and extra activities.
Let’s be honest: it’s not fun, but how many of us do these little activities because it looks good on our resumes?
7. Eat healthier and utilize the gym on campus more.
No more dining hall. We’re going to cook all of our own food and try harder to make healthier choices.
