Coming back to college after spring break can be difficult for most of us because we got a taste of summer and we want more. Some of us went away on an tropical island sipping on coconuts, others binged watched Netflix and the rest of us slept all day long. Now, here are 10 problems we have been running into for the remainder of the semester:

1. You have absolutely no motivation to do your schoolwork after the freedom of spring break.

2. Spring break has left you broke as a joke for the rest of the semester.

3. Your professors expect you to memorize an entire textbook before final exams.

4. You thought the semester was going extremely well until all of your professors decided to bombard you with assignments all at once.

5. You realize you only have a few short weeks left until final exams start.

6. You get a bad grade on an assignment you thought you did well on.

7. You have multiple assignments and projects that start to all blur together by the end of the semester.

8. Exam week, the longest five days of our lives.

9. Walking out of the hardest class you've been taking.

10. You pull all-nighters and drink way to much caffeine just to get your school work done.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
