It's almost, allllmost starting to feel like spring! The temperatures here are rising and the wind is starting to get a fresher feel. It almost feels like it's not trying to peel your face off when it blows anymore. I heard birds the other day. I even felt the sun on my face, and not the weak, watery kind of sun that happens in the winter. Stronger, fluid sunlight that feels as though it actually has the power to grow things.

I went out in the snow we had a few weeks ago to catch some pictures of a thaw in process. Of course, we've been set all the way back to frozen by this newest blizzard, but it will thaw again eventually. I wanted to see if I could get some pictures of the crossover between the freeze and those beings that wait underneath it for 6 months. Here are those pictures.
