Well it’s here again, the week that every college student dreads, finals week. It is the last thing holding you back from your summer vacation and the ability to go home and forget about school and get free food every day. But it is also the week from hell, with all-nighters and stress levels that are beyond what they should be. This is the week that every one of us dreads. The library becomes your new home, spending almost 24 hours a day there. Caffeine becomes you best friend and your family starts to worry because they haven’t heard from you in days. You know that the end is in sight and summer break is just a week away, but getting to that end seems near impossible at the moment. But here is a little office humor to help you get through this awful time.

When you find out that the exam is cumulative

You spent all semester thinking that the final was just a "final test" and you were wrong. So now you have to read the entire book and just hope that you'll remember something.

When you read the same chapter for the 100th time and still don’t understand it at all

No matter how many times you read it, you still do not understand what it is saying. So now you're just hoping that maybe someone can explain it to you in simple terms.

When you hit that 12th hour in the library and the delusions starts to kick in

Everything has become funny, including your own failure. So now you're just laughing and hoping for the best.

When you take the practice test again and still cannot get a single answer right

We've all been there, thinking I got this and then getting every single answer wrong.

When realize that your final is on a Saturday

Seriously though, who has a final on a Saturday NIGHT. Oh right, I do.

The moment when you just except the failure

You've finally reached the moment where you literally do not care and just want to get the exam over. You're even thinking about just skipping the final all together.

When you try to calculate the lowest grade that you can get and still pass the class

You go on canvas and every other website to see if just maybe you can fail the final and somehow still pass the class.

And when you find out that the lowest you can get is a 95%

But that is not the case and even though you're passing the class, you still have to get a 95% on the final to pass. How does that even happen?

When you walk into Starbucks for the 100th time and they recognize you

You've already been there about six times just within the last three hours. So yeah they remember you.

When you finally take the exam and you are free!

It's finally over and you can now breathe. Now time for summer vacation and no school. Unless you're me then you have summer classes.

We all know how finals weeks goes and all the stress that comes along with. No matter if you’re a senior or a freshman we all feel the same pain. Just know that you’re not alone in this and that the office is always there to cheer you up and take your mind off the dreaded finals. So good luck everyone with your finals and remember we’re all in this together

15 Times "Parks and Recreation" Summed Up Your Library Experience

"I've only slept nine hours over the past four days, so I'm right on the verge of a nervous breakdown." - Leslie Knope

Parks and Recreation excitedly gathered around a laptop at a table in an office setting.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
