How To Make The Most Out Of That Spring Fever
Almanac

Spring is in the air and it's finally starting to warm up. The semester only has a little over a month yet. Here are my tips on how to make it through the hype of it all.

1. Focus

Make sure you know your goals and what you need to accomplish and don't let the nice weather distract you. Remember that you have important things to do and get done.

2. Don't Stress

Life may get hectic at times but it is important not to stress out and to make sure you live in the moment. If you keep stressing you'll miss out on a lot of moments that you will regret later on.

3. Get Your Summer Body

Start eating clean and getting in your workouts 3 to 4 times a week to be happy about you and your image. A happy healthy you is the best version of you. To get your body ready in time for summer you have to start working on your image now.

4. Figure Out Your Summer Trips

Start planning the fun trips you want to go on with your friends now. If you start now your friends and yourself can start saving and you'll be in a good place financially to make your plan happen.

Spring is one of my favorite seasons because you can plan out your summer and finally feel the relief from the horrid winter. It's just so easy to forget that you need to focus on everything else around you before you have fun.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
