You're back from spring break. You're so close to the end of the year. The weather is starting to get nice (hopefully), and you're just ready to be done with homework and endless hours of studying for exams.
But don't skip over spring and jump into the summer mode just yet. There is a lot to enjoy in the spring if you look for it, and it can come with exciting adventures. The term “spring cleaning," is coined by many, referring to a thorough cleaning of one's house. However, this spring, as you're ready for the end of the year, work on spring cleaning bad habits that you told yourself you would fix when New Years rolled around. Or, start doing things you've wanted to do the whole year but put off. Spring clean yourself to finish out the school year strong. Here are some ideas:
1. Start studying for finals early. Don't procrastinate. It's easy to come back from break, look at the calendar, and think there's a whole month before finals start. But they are bound to creep up fast, and as the days seem to be going by faster and faster, it's a good idea to not check-out so early and to instead get ahead
2. Find out about leadership positions. As the year starts to come to a close, if you want to be a leader in an organization, talk to the club or organization before the end of the school year and let them know that you are interested
3. Actually start cleaning. It's the end of the year, and if your room is anything like mine, it might be a mess. This is going to be stressful when moving out rolls around. Start getting rid of some things that you don't really use or are just cluttering your space.
