A Spring Break Trip To Las Vegas As Told By Spongebob

I swear that you can use SpongeBob quotes, pictures, and GIF's to describe any situation. In light of my Vegas trip coming up for spring break, I thought it might be a good idea to illustrate a time in Vegas as told by our porous yellow friend. Despite his naivete and his innocence, SpongeBob finds a way to reach us all. So, sit back, relax, and watch SpongeBob and friends take us through a journey to Las Vegas, Nevada.

1. When you first come up with the idea to go.

Spring break trip to Las Vegas? I think yes.

2. Trying to decide which casino to stay at.

There are just so many options.

3. When you make your reservation.

You treasure that confirmation email and look at it from time to time, just to remind yourself that it's there.

4. Planning what you are going to do with your best friends.

I get giddy just thinking about it. So much to do, so little time.

5. When you are getting close to going.

The excitement is real.

6. The morning that you leave.

So close, yet so far.

7. The drive there.

Roadtrip playlist, check. Snacks, check. Best friends, check. Hit it.

8. When you check into your hotel/casino.

Oh, hello there casino. I hope you're ready for us.

9. Getting psyched to go out.

The moment you've all been waiting for.

10. Going gambling for the first time.

Feeling lucky, punk?

11. After you have consumed a few beverages.

I swear to drunk I'm not God.

12. When you are too drunk to keep gambling but you still do it anyways.

You'll probably win eventually, right?

13. After winning big at that Blackjack table.

All that hard work and inebriation pays off....sometimes.

14. Someone always having to use the bathroom, cuz, you know, alcohol...

Damn that booze. Don't get lost on your way there.

15. When you accidentally get separated from the group and all you see are strangers.

Just when you think you might be lost for eternity and have to start a new life, someone manages to find you.

16. When you and your friends dress up and look on point.

Looking fresh, AF.

17. Dancing at the nightclub while drunk.

No one ever said it looked pretty. That still doesn't stop us from doing it.

18. Waking up after drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

When you apologize to your liver, tell yourself you're never drinking again and then proceed to do it again the next night.

19. Eating at one of the buffets to regain your strength.

Mediocre food never tasted so good.

20. The last night before you leave.

The depressing feeling you have because you have to go back to the real world. You also have to reassess your trip and do damage control. Hopefully you come out in the black.

21. Leaving Vegas and you owned the **** out of that city.

Or, you know, at least survived it.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
