Spring break is just around the corner and I'm as excited as the next person. Here is a list of outfits with alcoholic drinks to go with them. All outfits are put together by me on Polyvore (thaciastirling-1). Enjoy!

1. Bahama Mama


¼ oz. kahlua

½ oz. dark rum

½ oz. coconut liqueur

¼ oz. 151 bacardi

Juice of ½ lemon

4 oz. pineapple

Pour over cracked ice in collin’s glass and decorate with a cherry.


2. Cosmopolitan


1 ½ oz vodka

¾ oz. cointreau

1 oz. cranberry juice

¼ oz. lime

Shake and strain. Martini glass with an orange slice


3. Sea Breeze


1 ½ oz. vodka

4 oz. cranberry juice

1 oz. grapefruit juice

Pour vodka into highball glass and add mixers. Lime wedge to garnish


4. Boulevardier


1 oz. campari

1-1 ½ oz. whiskey bourbon

1 oz. sweet red vermouth


5.Singapore Sling


½ oz. grenadine

1 oz gin

Sweet and sour mix

Club soda

½ oz. cherry brandy

Grenadine in bottom of collins glass. Fill with ice. Add gin and almost fill with equal parts of sweet ands our sauce and club soda. Top with cherry brandy. Cherry garnish


6. Strawberry Daiquiri


½ oz. strawberry schnapps

1 oz. light rum

1 oz. lime wedge

1 tsp powdered sugar

1 oz. strawberries


Add ingredients with ice into blender. Blend and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with strawberry.


7. Mint Julep


2 oz. bourbon

1 tsp. Simple syrup (2:1)

8-10 mint leaves

Muddle mint leaves with simple syrup in a chilled julep cup. Add bourbon and stir. Slowly add pebbled ice, stirring.

Mound the ice on top and garnish with mint bouquet and serve with straw

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
