Spring semester in college always seems to go by faster than fall. But I think we all agree spring break is always needed at the time when it comes. But being in college we can't always afford jet setting off to Cabo, the Dominican, or a ski resort in Utah! So here are some budget friendly spring break ideas!

1. Spend a day at a spa

2. Book a hotel room to just get away

3. Look into an alternate spring break where you can volunteer your time somewhere warm

4. Go to a local ski resort

5. Have a movie day

6. Have a Bake-A-Thon

7. Complete a bunch of DIY projects you've been wanting to do

8. Visit your family

9. Explore your college town

10. Work, so you can afford a vacation next spring break

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
