Ah, spring break. The time we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. After a tough few weeks of classes since our last relaxation time over winter break, we have worked hard to earn another great break. If you are traveling on a typical spring break trip to a beautiful, tropical place to escape the cold weather, you have probably experienced some or all of the following struggles so far this week. If you’re lucky, they won’t happen at all. Either way, take a hint from the cast of "Spongebob Squarepants" about the dos and don’ts of spring break.

Long before spring break even started, you started working on your “spring break bod." In your head, you hit the gym every day and eat healthy, just like this:

In reality, you forgot to check your syllabus for each class until Sunday of the week before. Alas, it is time for midterms, so you barely have time to work out this week with all the studying, and you trade your healthy diet for all the midnight snacks. Sadly, this is you:

When the week from hell is finally over and it’s time for your travels, you are ready to hit the road with your friends like this:

In reality, your one friend whose license you question somehow ends up behind the wheel and your entire trip is spent giving a side-eye at the other passengers as you fear for your life:

When you finally arrive at your destination, it’s time to ditch the big jackets from school and hit the beach instantly. You may even show off your new bathing suits like:

In reality, you might be proudly sporting a new suit, but so is every other student with you on the beach. All of you together look like this:

No matter what, spring break is about taking some time away from the stress of our always hectic schedules at school. So, enjoy your time off with your friends or family and make the most of your time off!
