With spring break just around the corner, it may be hard to lose track of your priorities when all you can think about is going on a jet plane and never coming back again. The week approaching spring break is the hardest because as midterms are still in season, we can't afford to check out just yet. But how can we not check out when warmer weather is calling our names?

1. Impatience

How many more days until the flight takes off? As we sit in lecture and stare at the clock ticking away, each second is closer to a wonderful, relaxed spring break. But first, we have to get through a few more midterms.

2. Irritability

We don't want to be doing this work when we could be packing and getting ready to get our tans on! Our minds are in spring break mode, but our bodies are stuck in lecture halls. You don't want to be stuck indoors when there is beautiful weather somewhere else.

3. Uncontrollable stress

You have to pack, study for midterms, and get everything in order before the flight takes off. There seems to be no time because time is running out. While we may be excited that rest and relaxation is so soon, there doesn't seem to be enough time to get everything in order.

4. But also uncontrollable excitement

Get excited! It is coming up fast and it's going to be a blast! All this stressing will be worth it for just one week of paradise!

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
