Spring Break is approaching fast and I know all of us college students cannot wait to hit the beach with our friends! Packing for spring can be overwhelming... you don't want to bring your entire wardrobe, but you also don't want to forget anything. There are the obvious items like a towel, a book, and a hat, but then there are the little things you can forget. To help make your packing a little easier, I compiled a list of all the things that you need in your beach bag. Here are the six essentials you need for your spring break on the beach!

1. The Perfect Beach Bag

This can mean different things to different people. Whether it is a backpack or a tote bag it needs to be big enough to hold all of your essentials. It may seem like a hassle to carry a beach bag with you, but your won't regret it when you have everything you need with you instead of sitting up in your hotel room.

2. Sunscreen

This includes sunscreen for your body, your face, and your lips (yes, your lips can get sunburned too). I know you are running around enjoying spring break with your besties, however, skin protection is important, and you will not be happy when you realize you have burnt shoulders. Just remember... SPF yourself.

3. A Small Makeup Tote

This is for ponytails, Bobbi pins, headbands, beach sprays and any other hair products you might need for your day. Nothing is worse than being on the beach with the wind blowing your hair in your face every thirty seconds. It is always a good idea to be prepared! Other essentials, like headphones, can also go in here so you don't lose them!

4. Cheap Sunglasses

While we all love to sport our Ray Bans, we don't want to lose them. The number people that lose their sunglasses over spring break is incredibly high. Skip bringing your nice sunglasses down to the beach and opt for a cheaper pair from Forever21 or H&M. That way it doesn't feel like the end of the world when you lose them.

5. A Refillable Water Bottle

This is yet another reason every college students needs a Hydro Flask! These water bottles are great at keeping your water nice and cold, which will come in handy when you are relaxing on a hot beach. Also, it's hot and you are spending all day out in the sun... you need to stay hydrated!

6. Texturizing Salt Spray

When it comes to hair, we all love beach waves right? It is an effortless look that is both cute and easy to accomplish! There are so many different salt sprays out there to help you create this look. Keep a bottle in your bag, so you are always picture-ready while at the beach (we all need an Instagram-worthy pic, right?).

What items do you always take to the beach?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
